My name is David COŸNE, and I am passionate about innovation and the preservation of our Cultural, Historical and Religious heritage. It is with great enthusiasm that I present to you our project aimed at digitizing heritage, an initiative born from the deep conviction that our heritage deserves to be preserved and shared with the whole world in an accessible and sustainable way.
The idea of digitizing heritage was born from several observations:
1. Fragility of Cultural, Historical and Religious Treasures:
Many artifacts and historical monuments are vulnerable to the ravages of time, natural disasters, and human activity.
The first action of digitization is the preservation of heritage: we offer solutions to scan book pages, 3D objects and historicize, classify and use keywords to prioritize search results by attributes.
2. Limited Accessibility:
Many of these treasures are inaccessible to the general public, either because of their geographical location, or because of physical restrictions (limited hours), or because of a lack of information available for each work.
Our technological infrastructure and the software implemented make it possible to offer secure access in 24/7 mode to specific content in the language selected during the tourist’s visit on site but also from a website.
3. Technology at the Service of Memory:
Technological advances now offer powerful tools to capture, preserve, and share our heritage in an innovative and immersive way directly on site with access to digitalized content (Augmented reality, kiosk, hologram) but also via web access.
4. Technology at the Service of Schools:
the SmartLab program is a good example of implementing technologies to serve children and young students who can then create, transform and associate content with images, videos and sounds when digitizing the historical heritage of their municipality.
We provide teachers with equipment (3D scanner, cameras, drones) and a methodology with support from our experts so that teachers can then help young students capture information and transform it to digitize and enhance heritage.
